Just a thought. I include todays date in my GEDCOM file names so I know how it relates to my main tree file. J

Jean, You need to have your tree in gedcom format to start with. You then say yes, you want to upload a gedcom. You get the opportunity to browse your own documents and choose the file that your tree is saved in. You shouldn't have any problems, I'm a bit technophobic sometimes and managed ok. Give us a shout if you have any more problems!

on ancestory,you can upload a gedcom, but i have tryed, and get confuzed half way through, help. thanks jean
