I have two accounts and two trees on here - One with adopted family, one with birth family. Is there a way I can copy information from one tree to the other or do I have to type all shared information twice?

In a word... No. You cannot merge or import/export data from one tree to another on GR. Your best solution would be to download both trees to Gedcom files, then use a genealogy program such as PAF or Family Tree Maker to merge them. You could then re-export the combined tree to Gedcom and re-import to GR. If you only have a few names to merge, then it might be quicker to re-enter the data from one tree to another manually.
