When you add a 'Trying to Find' it should go onto the main (general) page AND the page for the specific name. However, a lot of posts get added and your name might disappear off the first page very quickly. Within 15 minutes it might be off the first page. This is what it says at the top of the Trying to Find Board (see last bit of the sentence):- 'If you wish to add a Trying To Find entry for a specific name then click here to go to the 'Your Names' Area. You can then add your entry against a particular name's Trying To Find section and your message will automatically appear on this board too.' Kath. x

Ooh, I always thought the 'general' page was just the most recent additions of all the Trying to Finds! I don't know if there is a separate way of adding to that page. Kate.

Hi, can anyone please tell me how I could add to the general page of 'trying to find'. I follow the instructions ie click on names only to find my request only appears on that board. When I use TTF I always look at the first ( general) page which I find most interesting. On specific names I imagine only people with an interest in that name will access it therefore I could lose out if somebody does recognise the name had it been displayed on the general page. Thanks, Jack
