Alternatively, if you're systematic and determined (and note any gaps so you can try elsewhere) - aren't the GRO index images free on Ancestry? Christine

Have you tried the Kent Local BMD site? http://extranet3.kent.gov.uk/sp/rois/marriagesearch.cfm I'm starting at the earlier end of your date-range, if you want to start at the other end? Christine PS - had a quick through the date-range with a bit either side in both surnames but didn't spot yours. Of course, the site doesn't cover all of Kent - if you mean the London or Medway bit, then you won't find it here. The Medway Parish Registers are available online at Medway CityArk - but they aren't indexed and you have to be systematic and determined.

What year are you talking of ? If prior to 1881 then try www.familysearch.org which is a free site. Regards Jimbob

You can try Ancestry*co*uk or FreeBMD*co*uk (replace the * with .) What are the names you have and the possibilities?

Freebmd is pretty good 1837-1910 though not complete. The complete images are available free on Ancestry, you have to register to use them and look on each quarter of each possible year though which is time consuming.
