Husband's special birthday party (''40th anniversary of coming of age'', because 60th celebrations last year had to be cancelled) coming up soon... Elder son has just texted to say he's bringing a partner (we've not met her before). They live at a distance so will have to stay the night. Years of chaos to be eliminated in a few weeks - and we're away for two of them, on holiday! AAaaaarrgghhh. Sorry if I don't answer my PMs, or help out on the Board for a while - I can't subject him to the alternative: severe embarrassment. - Christine |

See ..... now if you kept the place spotless at all times there wouldn't be this mad rush when visitors are expected........yeah right (Laughs hysterically). |

I think i might c&p this thread quick, save it for a rainy day (and decide the price according to my needs at the time). The minimum will be 50p but could be more. Glen |

One useful excuse - when you get to this stage!! - Grandchildren. My granddaughter - now 18 months old - has taken to dusting (her mother's influence - not mine). - However - when anyone comes nowadays - I just explain - re the dust - I save it for my grand-daughter - she comes most Fridays and she expects it to be there - so - I save it for her. - (She has her own little duster!!)
