When I was at the Hampshire Record Office in Winchester earlier this year I made a note that the Catherington parish register fiche CHU/41/1A/7 had some lists of people who had received benefit from the local charities. I didn't make a note of the date, but think it was late 1700s. It has just occurred to me that there might be someone who had relatives not too well off in Catherington who might be interested. |
