I have a ancestor who was a nun at Grange over Sands Nunnery she was called Philomena (possibly not birthname, possibly her church name) Waite and she was probably born in Ireland. Any ideas on how to find her ? karen

Surely the relevant church would keep a record. Was she Catholic?
