I am looking for the occupation of Charles Levy c1872 (mistranscribed as Lang) in 1891. The reference is RG12 Folio 129 Page 53. Also that of his sister Emma, listed beneath him. Many thanks Lynn

its RG12; Piece: 427; Folio 129; Page 53; difficult one! His father is an admiralty messenger, Charles MIGHT read Mess Room Assistant?

Thanks Jess, that looks possible. I thought that the first word looked like mess and with a naval history, it would make sense. Any ideas for Emma, all I could work out were the last words 'at home'? Thanks Lynn
