Hi Im a real novice this is my first time! Can any one help, my grandad won ABboxing medals whilst in the army ,over the years we have lost a few. how can I get formation/replacements.Please remember Im not the brightest re computers/ research , Thanks Frankie |

Lizzie, You can find out about WW1 medals on the National Archives site - http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/catalogue/RdLeaflet.asp?sLeafletID=37&j=1 Frankie, I'm not sure about boxing medals but for campaign medals that have been lost, the Ministry of Defence won;t replace them, they suggest that you contact a reputable medal dealer - http://www.veteransagency.mod.uk/medals/replace.html Sam x |
