Hi i seem to of come to a stop at the minute. I have a list as long as my arm of bits and pieces i want to find but for some reason i just don't seem to be able to kick start myself into doing it but then when i turn the computer off at night i feel real bad knowing that i haven't spent all night looking for just one of those bits of info that i need. What do you do? Jen |

I leave it for a few days/weeks/months until I get the 'urge' again. Then I prattle on for a few months until I reach another dead-end. No point beating yourself up about it :) Life's too short. You'll get an email out of the blue, and that'll get you started. Or you'll see something on TV, or a million other things :) |

I save up an exciting bit to do. I had a relative who I thought had emigrated to Australia and after asking for a look-up for birth and marriage details from Kerry, I think I have just made contact with more Australian relatives. I have started watching neighbours with more interest. It is also a good ideal to E.mail your contacts again and ask them if they have made any exciting discoveries in the last couple of months. Finding a photo always gives me a boost as well. |
