Hi Snowdrops Yes all the birth family,although there is still much to do on my mothers side it is back to pre 1837 on most lines. My fathers side is a different story,it was only after my file arrived that i knew his name for certain,(it confirmed the rumours) So here we go again trawling the index for that breakthrough to the 1901 again. Back to my mothers side, I did get a photograph of my g g/m at the weekend,taken when she was 100 years old,taken 51 years ago,that went straight into my FTM and on my homepage,so mum,granny and grt granny all have photographs there now.add one of me as a baby and my daughter,5 generations in photographs!! Thankyou......The birth cert i received was the right one,adding in the details from the wedding ref you found plus my adoption file results and the pieces from the other tree i managed the right cert first time.Confirmed the father with Middlesboro registery office this morning.Now to find granny and gramps marriage!!Glen |
