I would like to reply to those who wrote: 'The reactions were contained to the General Board but now, because it's being discussed on here (and I'm not saying it shouldn't be), we are being affected by it'. 'Perhaps we should have a Windge or Gripe board rather than moaning all over the place' 'if no one replied to his message he would get the bored and go away.' This was intended as a light hearted thread but my thread on Tips was put there because like me many do not bother much with General but they do view the Success board. This abuse affects us all and some constructive criticism has come out of it. I think the delayed messages on Success would be a great idea because I cannot see GR relinquishing their free access and free posting on that site; it has been requested for years. Has anyone muted this idea to GR? If not then may I suggest we bombard GR with the idea. What a good TIP Kat |

They really need to see what the BBC does-if you are new you are moderated-the posts dont show for 2 hours-its a great litle site-have been on it for a few months now, hence less time spent on here. |

I agree with Gwen, if people didn't reply, these idiots would just lose interest. Lynn |

I agree with everything you have all said. But I would add that if no one replied to his message he would get the bored and go away. Peeps like him love it if they think they have got to someone so next time he posts a thread on this board it would be wise if no one responded. Gwen |

Hi Paul I agree with that. I see he has gone of the board, so 'The team' did get their finger's out. What's the use of haveing an Abuse thingy if they(Genes) will not do anything about the abuse Sheila |

Good idea, Paul ... :-) There were four over the weekend - I copied them and sent them to GR Abuse. Nine times out of ten, I receive a thank you from GR. Having been a victim of abuse on the board, I can empathise. Joy |

It must be the silly season - there's another whacko who claims to 'visit this board on a regular basis', posting wierd stuff today! |

I agree Alan and Kris. Unlike the other boards the 'Success' board is a noticeboard which does not require real-time interaction, so your suggestion makes sense. |

Perhaps we should have a Windge or Gripe board rather than moaning all over the place. Lin |

What worries me about all this (apart from the nastiness of it all) is how it's all filtering through to the other boards. The reactions were contained to the General Board but now, because it's being discussed on here (and I'm not saying it shouldn't be), we are being affected by it. So they've got the effect they wanted haven't they? |

I only saw one troublemaking post - from what I can gather more were made after I had retired to my bed. I suggest that if it remains free to post on the Success Board, the management should introduce a 24 hour delay on all the posts in order for them to be vetted. That way, the genuine posts remain and the puerile rubbish is put into the bin where it belongs |

A great idea....maybe they could make Success for paying members only and Losers for non-paying members only??! Then make it so only Losers could read the Losers board and they could post their pathetic rants without us being able to see them! Merry |

Then our sick little friend can post his own disgusting messages on his own board and leave the rest of us alone. |
