I had a message on Friday asking to see my tree. Taking notice of what people had advised on here, I messaged back and asked who they were interested in. They messaged back and told me and although I have the person in my tree he is only a 'twig'. I answered back and told them that and said that although there was no point them looking at my tree (politely) I had quite a lot of info. on the person and had even found a photo of him, his wife and all of his children. I told them the website where I had found this picture...and....nothing. I am pretty sure they were still online when I sent it as we had done all this 'talking' in the space of 5/10 minutes. Even more glad I didn't allow access to my tree now. Linda

He may not have been trying to be ''funny'' in giving you permission to view him (alone!!)! He may not have realised GR ticks the box by default........................ Maybe he has a fantastically researched tree on his home program? Merry

So they want you to do all the hard work for them ??? I don't think so !!! Keep your tree to yourself and email them asking them to provide information as to which relative they are interested in.
