HI, I have noticed that some people think that Australia has a seperate GR website. This is not the case. we sign in to this website using www.genesreunited(.)com(.)au and are directed here . I have received messages from some members who have said they are surprised that Australians see their messages.I have even seen replies to messages posted by Australians that maybe they should post them on the Australian GR website. I just thought I would let those of you who do not know that to Aussies, this is the Australian GR website. Maybe they want us to think they are seperate websites??

Rachel, I think it's an easy mistake for the British to make and some probably are trying to be helpful, thinking you've arrived on the boards by mistake! However, now you have made it clear what the situation is, I'm sure the users of these boards will now be more respectful of our friends from Down Under. I'm certain that your contributions to sites like these help out a lot of us Brits and vice versa, especially in the present climate of Brits emigrating to Oz and Aussies coming over here to work etc. A warm (well, actually, the weather's a bit iffy at the moment!) Thanks Mandy, Im not trying to offend anyone just letting others know. Like you said it could only be of benefit with helping each other out. I have been a member for 7 months only posted a couple of times. I thought i would just mention it.

Yes, it makes sense only to be one website, otherwise how would all the trees/names link in together. OMG how would everyone go on for Hot Matches otherwise? It doesn't bear thinking about!! Welcome to the boards Rachel.
