Just been pouring over wills and found that one of the executors is 'brother in law' - this gave me his wifes maiden name as Wilson, although I thought it may be as one of the children has it as a middle name. Anyway, thought I would see if I could find a will for the 'brother in law' and low and behold I did! and it is him cos he refers to my sister Ann Ayre and loads of his nephews and neices - problem is its about 5 pages long so am having to try and transcribe it. Just thought I'd share - never give up! tom.

not yet, but you never know! do you know how much £1000 was in 1812 - thats what he left to his sister, don't know where it all went - I sure haven't got any, lol.

£1000 in 1812 is the equvilent of £44.765.89 in 2005 Wish someone would leave me that much. Jennie
