thanks Gwen, i found it by accident in the end!!! When I saw George I thought that meant he was the only one missed the image icon. anyway I trawled the lists and found her. But I think it is 5c not 6, looked for another Bridgewater and that was 5c, 6 seems to be up in the midlands and 5 in the S West. I hope iit is 288 but I can't make it any different so will have to hope for the best. Many thanks for your help, and for the help with ancestry, I do now have full membership, trial runs out today and I was beginning to wonder if it was worth it, but I guess it is. Ann Glos |

Ann If you are on the home page of Ancestry scroll down you will see England & Wales BMD index click on it, it takes you to another screen, you will see a heading 'Complete BMD index' Select Deaths, by clicking on the word takes you to your search box. Enter the name Hannah Warner and year 1853 click on search All your quarters will now show If you click on the image in the last column last of the last quarter as shown below George Warner - Elizabeth Warnock 1853 Oct-Nov-Dec it will take you to the pages that show the cert references. Hannah is the second name on the page under George. Hope this is okay and I have explained it so you can understand. You will not have to but units form 1837 online if you have full acess to Ancestry as you can search all the BMd indexs not just the free ones. Gwen |

Ann I searched the full BMD indexes on Ancestry as I figured that may be you Hannah's details had not been transcrided in the free indexes. But I think that the one in 1853 looks like it is the one. sorry for the delay in replying GR site seems to be playing up Gwen |

I have found this in 1853 Oct/Nov/Dec Quarter Hannah Warner, Bridgewater, 6 C 288 Anne the reference code is difficult to read so you may want to look at it yourself to see if you read it the same as me. But I think this is the one you are probably looking for. Its a strong possible. With what you have looked through and what I have searched the following years have now been searched 1856/1857/58/59/60/61/62. Gwen |

Ann I have just checked the death index for 1860/1861 on Ancestry for you. I found a Hannah Warner in 1861 Jul/Aug/Sept Quarter but I am unable to read the name of the place the death was registered. Perhaps some nice GR person will take a look. If its not the one I will look on. Gwen |

Snowdrop That 1869 is the one I already have thanks, the wrong one although he same family. Reg, yes I have searched on Ancestry as well as BMD as I said, which is why I turned to the expert seekers on here because I am sooo frustrated with this one. (In fact with the whole family.) Ann glos |

Can anyone help find the death of Hannah Warner born North Petherton Somerset c1788, and not the one who died in October 1869 as that is the wrong one (same family!) I have her on the 1851 as a widow aged 61 living with son Robert in Lyng Somerset but am unable to find her in 1861 (she is not the Hannah who is married to John Warner Shoemaker) and she is not with Robert in 1861. I have searched freeBMD and BMD on Ancestry for her death and only get the other Hannah. I have also searched 1856, 1858, 1859 and Mar and June 1855 on 1837 but then ran out of money on there. she would be registered at either Bridgewater or Taunton depending wwhere exactly she died. have I missed her? Did she die or just evaporate? can anyone throw a light on this please? Thanks Ann Glos |
