A Protestant Dissenter's Birth certificate registered at Dr. Williams's Library on 4th December 1837. It records the birth of Henry Lincoln, son of John Lincoln, Dissenting Minister of Coventry Road, Warwick, and Sarah daughter of Mr. Sweetman of Robertsbridge, Sussex, in the parish of St. George the Martyr, London on 7th August 1805. It is signed by John Lincoln and dated 27th November 1837 and also records the fact that Sarah Lincoln died in 1808. It is witnessed by Dr. Boot, the midwife, and Ann Lee, the nurse and also sister of Sarah Lincoln. I presume that it was the beginning of Civil Registration in July 1837 that caused this certificate to be completed some 30+ years after the event. The form notes that the Register will be finally closed on December 31 1837. Of interest to any one with an interest in Genealogy or a family descendant (See also an Indenture for Henry Lincoln, now on ebay)

If you do a search for Henry Lincoln b 1805 on GR you will see that someone called Donald has a man of the same name/age in his tree. Might be worth sending him a message.
