Hi All, When I went on maternity leave from work (in a hurry) some kindly soul deleted FTM from my work pc. Problem was it was my most upto date one. I have exported my tree from GR to my FTM at home but for some reason it has duplicated all the spouses. I cant delete them as it removes both spouses as they are the same person if you see what I mean? I am completely stuck and dont know how to remove just one. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks Naomi

Naomi, Are you using 'delete individual' command? Annie

... if you are, try the 'detach spouse' command instead. Other than this laborious way, I can't think of anything you can do. Well, I guess you could try to download it all again from GR to see if it fixes itself ... Annie

I got some of them when I imported my family into FTM, I got rid of them by merging them, don't know if that;s the quickest, but it worked! Mavis

Hi Naomi Try runnung a 'merge duplicate individuals report'. It's quite easy to do. Just follow the prompts. I think that will be the best way forward. Good luck PP xx

Hi All, I have tried delete individual and detach spouse but when I did that it removed both spouses as they are the same person iykwim. I also tried a merge thing but it only came up with a lot of unknown unknown. I think I'm going to try merging again or downloading from here again. Jean, Daniel is doing just great thanks! He is now 14months, cruising the furniture, eating loads and adorable :0) Naomi x
