Not really an answer, but perhaps a useful suggestion. There is the National Roll of Honour which I belive is published by area and therefore searchable by area. It would be a very long job, but if someone really wanted to do it, I think that most of the names would be listed there and it would be a matter of going through it all and then perhaps cross-checking for details on cwrg site ? Is there anyway i can find out a list of people who died in ww1& 2 for anyone town a friend is trying to have there names on a monument as Tunstall Staffordshire is the only local place were there is not one thank you Valxxx |
