Does Kitty have an alternative or is it a name in its own right.? Been looking for a marriage of my uncle (and it seems like forever) who's surname is very common and all I know is he married someone called Kitty. I've found loads of marriages for his name but not been able to match it with Kitty. thanks Gwen |

Kitty is short for Catherine/Katherine/Cathleen/Kathleen etc, but its also a name in its own right! OC |

Thanks to everyone just went back to look over the marriage reference numbers I have found for my Uncle and looked for the name Catherine against a few of the surnames and bingo a hit. so thanks again. Gwen |
