How to find a street in a census

How do I find which page of a census a particular street appears? I have access to Ancestry, but there isn't a search by address option. I can't find a particular family by name on the 1891, but I have an address from a birth certificate in December 1891, so I would like to know if they were living there for the census. The address is 1 Wilson Street, Mile End, which is now in Walthamstow E17.

1891 can be searched by address on 1837online..........as can 1861. Ignore completely any modern info............ Reg

This may help..................... 1 Wilson Street Mile End Old Town Mile End Old Town Mile End Old Town St Lukes Mile End Old Town The other way....on Ancestry........is to call up an image of any page for Mile End Old Town, then....above the image click on the district name. That will bring up a lsit of enumeration districts within the main district..............look at the 'description' of each, until you find the one which includes 'your' street........... Then just view the district...scrolling through the pages until you find the right address. Reg

There is a thread 'finding out who lived at an address' by Linda. I added a post explaining how to check districts in it,and the streets within,i nudged the thread, but for London districts it can be a bit of a bum numbing exercise, they have lots of images for each district. Glen
