Hi a few of you will know that i have been searching for my mums brother that she has never met. After going through a couple of years each night i think i may of found him. Could somebody possibly give me there opinion please. My grandad is called Ralph Donovan Williams nobody will tell me any information about his previous life before my gran as she would never allow him to talk of it. This is what i have found Ralph D Williams marriage 1941 to Marriott in Newark J/A/S i know Ralph had a child called Collin but thats all my mum knows and i have found this. Colin D Williams mothers maiden name Marriott 1942 J/F/M Newark. What do you think. I know i won't know for certain unless i order the certificates but which way would you go about it and if it is him how would i then find where he is living now., Many thanks excited jen |

Don't want to spoil your excitement, Jennifer, but I do think you should proceed VERY cautiously - he may not know of your mother's existence or may not WANT to know. Suggest you look at Jess's thread on adoptions - I know this is not your situation, but there are many stories, both good and bad, about reunions of birth siblings, which IS your situation. I hope all works out well for you. OC |
