Connecting up two people already on tree

You can't via GR,the software used is too simple. You will have to add one of them as a spouse (they will then appear on your tree twice),make a note in the notes section to clarify that they are entered twice. Some problems occur with someone who marries more than once,if spouse two is older than spouse number one,the marriages will be out of order. If you use a programme like FTM you can 'merge' duplicated people,and the relationships show correctly,for the sake of £10-£15 the back up for your info is worth it,GR is not a safe place to keep your only copy of a tree. I don't think it is on Genes I 've two sisters who marry two brothers and had to put them in twice. I think on other family tree software it is possible as you just select an exisiting entry. Kim |

If I have traced two lines down and find that two cousins married further down how do I go about connecting them up? is this possible? |
