I am trying to locate the family of James Robert (H)ankin Barnes in the 1901 census, the details I have from the 1891 are as follows. Ethel R Barnes 3 Florence C Barnes 7 Jas R A Barnes 40 Jas R D Barnes 1 Mary E Barnes 11 Matilda S Barnes 38 Matilda S Barnes 18 Sarah J Barnes 5 Victoria L Barnes 16 Living at 36 Hows Street Parish: St Leonards Shoreditch Source Citation: Class: RG12; Piece: 253; Folio 24; Page 42; GSU roll: 6095363. Would a kind soul please see if they can find them in the 1901- because I cant find them anywhere, I belive they were still living at How Street if that helps. I feel like I am going made- or as my husband would say @ I need to go to specsavers'!!!! Thanks Claire

you were probably entering too much specific criteria. all i entered was, JAMES- b/p CARLISLE- wife MATILDA. had 4 to choose from.. 2 in Cumberland, 1 in Lancs and one in Shoreditch
