Mystery woman – can anyone find Sarah in 1841 or 5

This lady has eluded me for years. Looking for Sarah HOLT in 1841 & 1851 – hopefully in Yorkshire (see below in a minute) Any help gratefully received Jay |

NOT this one 1841 -Sarah Holt 20 years living North Cave with parents Swithin & Ann (1851 Swithin & Ann living Hotham) 1851 census Sarah Holt 29 housemaid born North Cliff living Hotham I need THIS one Sarah HOLT mar James Finch Nov 1858 ( Prim Meth ceremony) Declared herself as single, 28 years, father given George KIRBY Sarah Finch lived Huggate 1861- 1884 consistently gave Holme on Spalding Moor/Harswell as place of birth on each census. Harswell & Holme on Spalding Moor PR searched – no bp Sarah Holt or Kirby IGI no bp of Sarah Holt at any nearby location. 1851 & 1861 there’s a Robert HOLT & wife Ann living Millington (next village to Huggate) with son Albert aged 9 born Warter Robert born Balkholme, Yks - Ann born Gainsborough Lincs (visiting is Christiana Halt, born Withernwick c 1838 – Robert’s cousin, I think) Is this MY Sarah’s mother & step-father? Can’t find GRO ref for Albert’s birth. No bp for Albert Holt in either Warter or Millington PR nor marriage of Robert & Ann. (Wondering if they are Prim Meths?? – record office closed for another couple of months) Can find no Holt/Kirby link |

Possibly as Sarah Hell, in Holme on Spalding Moor in 1841? (Hell approximating to Holt) It's tough finding the women, isn't it! |
