I have it too from time to time Elaine but I haven't got a clue what it is or how to get rid of the thing. I find it so annoying. Christina

Internet Explorer is not Allowing a program called Active-X to run. It is sometimes disabled as a security measure, but many websites need it these days to work properly. Go on to tools internet options, click the advanced tab, then under 'security' tick the box which says 'allow active content to run in files on my computer' If this doesn't do the trick then check to see if you have the following Microsoft 'fix' installed on your PC: KB912945 Info about it can be found here: http://support.microsoft*com/kb/912945 It is a non-critical update for IE and if it is in fact installed on your computer it could also be causing the issue..

Thanks Peter. I shall follow your instructions - no chance of knowing what to do by myself I'm always afraid that I'm downloading something awful. Christina
