Looks like I could of found another living rellie, someone contacted me about a line in my tree. Isn't this family history stuff great, I have found out things that I would never have thought it possible. I started researching 2 years ago because I was trying to find my birth mother. Unfortunately after wanting to know me, decided that she didn't want to know because she hadn't told her other children about me. Is quite sad really how a mother can desert her own child, its not as if she gave me up for adoption, because she didn't. She left my father and married someone else and started a new life with them. She only lives about 45 mins away from me. But never mind is her loss lol Nicola |

I'm pleased that you are having sucess in your search. I think that your birth mother is feeling quite torn about you. She probably wants to know you, but can't let the family know about her 'past'. I'm sure that you family are worth more to you anyway. Love Anne |

thx Anne Thing is I'm only 31 so really there was no excuse, because my family tried to get her to see me and she said she would and didn't. I'd be wrong if I said it didn't bother me, cause of course it does but I have a good life and that's what matters. Nicola x |

Nicola, It's bound to hurt. that is almost the ultimate rejection. But you have a good life and a great family, so you have loads. And you are prepared to value what you ahve, so that is a great help Best wishes Anne |

Nicola you're still here? lol So sorry about your b/m (((((Hugs)))) but it's great that you found another rellie :) I made 3 contacts today including the one I mentioned in my other thread this morning woooohhooooo it's funny you look and look and look and there's nothing, then 3 come along at once! ..... kinda like busses lol |
