Can you search the census for an address??

Gordon

You can search the 1901 census and see if they live at the same address. If they do then there's a relationship to head of household field in the register. You can search for the John's Birth Certificate or Marriage certificate, both of which show Father's name and occupation. The County of Chester is an anachronistic term for Cheshire. Birkenhead or Bierkenhead is the same place, just accross the Mersey from Liverpool. Does any of that help? Gordon
