I'm just trying to find out what time GR claims I post this - about 18:14 or a few minutes earlier? My watch and computer say it is 18:14... and GR says 18:06! Have we gone back in time, or what? Kate. |

Thanks, Tina, I was beginning to think it was just me! I will send GR a message about it now! Kate. |

It's 7 minutes out - still. I did email them and ask for it to be put right but perhaps 1 email about this is deemed insignificant. Anyone else care to email them?? |

This is fantastic. Just think. If they can wipe a few minutes off each day, how long before we can actually approach our ancestors direct and ask them where they were b***** well born! I reckon this is GRs latest whizzo wheeze - a time machine. At last! Tina |

LOL, Tina! I have sent them (GR, not my ancestors) a message, but I won't hold my breath waiting for a reply... Kate. |

Personally, I would start with Stockport in 1891. I want to know where my g-g uncle John Brigham is. His (2nd) wife Fanny is working as a servant and claiming to be single. Two years later she has a son which she says is John's, but claims John is dead. No death cert has come to light. The son gets adopted by a childless couple, and Fanny goes on to have two further children who she admits are fathered by the man who adopted the first child (although he does not take on these two). John has disappeared into thin air, never to be found again. We think he may be buried under the patio........................... Tina |
