hi all jean here again ,this is just to let you know i was looking for samuel sears into the late hours last night, tryed to follow any advice i was given, but nothing, this mornings post came with a note from worcestershire records office ,they cant find him at all, so another brick wall the size of china, he must be hideing under a differant name when he was a lad, thanks to all who tryed to help, regards jean |

Ooooh, Barbara! That's clever!!! Jean was looking for a Samuel Sears born about 1875. There are none on the 1881 census or the 1891 census, but one on the 1901, born at Shelsley Beauchamp! It's quite likely that Jean's samuel was illegitimate as when he married in 1902 he said his dad was George Perkins. I wonder if the man you found is Jean's Samuel's grandfather? Merry |
