Thankyou Agnes should be Agnes (I have her birth cert. Elizabeth Richardson is Ann's Neice The Taylor connection is going to be somewhat harder to work out Thanks again Peter |

I think that the Amelia ? that Paul mentions is Agnes. Hi Peter This is what it looks like to me. Ann Croft, Lodger, Mar, 35, Charwoman Ann Nurse, Daur, UnMar, 9 , Essex Colchester Richard Nurse, Son, UnMar, 5, Essex Colchester Agnes? Croft Daur UnMar, 2, Essex Colchester John Taylor. Lodger, UnMar, 11, Essex Colchester Elizabeth Richardson Visitor, 13 The other place of birth is a town that starts with 'B' and appears to end in 'SEA'. I hope this helps ...Paul |

It would be appreciated if someone could do a lookup in 1861 and give an opinion on what it says. The property is in Long Wyre Street in Colchester. I can read James Piper, Lodger Mar 66 Itinerant Bookseller Essex….. I am interested in the group of people bracketed below him (ending with Elizabeth Richardson aged 13 Opinions on what it says appreciated (Surnames are Croft/Nurse if that helps. If anyone can find John Taylor in 1851 that would be a bonus…. Thanks Peter |
