I wonder if anybody could help with this? My g father was secconded to line the streets at the funeral of Queen Victoria, at the station the horses were skittish and some of the ratings were made to haul the gun and carriage to the castle he was one of these sailors. they all recieved a medal for this and I wonder where reference to this medal would be, I have looked for medal cards but to no avail..Its not to do with the war or acts of courage,This was 1901his name William Brine service number 115459.
