Julie ur a flipping srat u r xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ive spent the last few hours (but got dragged away 2 to do dinner then tea grrrrrr) looking at that directory im upto IMP-IMD at the mo (its taking me hours) but im having such good fun thannk u Julie xxxxxxxxx Only thing I dont understand is this. Ive found quite a few rellies (woohoo) and one in particular my Gr great Uncle Wallis Binch who was a lace manufacturer seems to be in 2 places at the same time from 1911 upto 1914 He's at Mount Street (no number) and also 4 Claremont Rd (do ya think that one is his home address?) I also know he moved to Beech Ave sometime in the future as I saw him in the Kelly's directory at the archives in 1930 (didnt have a no then either) Luv Angie xxxx

ohh angie!!! it is possible that mount st would be the factory, as i'msure you know, mount st is near ropewalk, and has multistory cp, the address, beech ave, thats off derby rd, near canning circus, i think, or could be forest fields, the other one claremont rd, may well be home addy, but it does ring bells, have you tried looking on multimap for addys??? www*multimap*com I have used site a few times, but not found anything to help me, just glad you have found it so useful :)) Julie rite have just checked multimap, and both beech ave and claremont rd, are in carrington/forest fields area,( hucknall rd side) if you know area, claremont avenue has some very posh houses on it, beech ave, tends to be more terraced from what i remember, but not all terraces, i would say your assumption was correct in mount st being factory, whatever, and the other two, addresses of some sort HTH Julie

yeah still have car boot there i aint bin for ages either lol then again aint bin to the dog track for ages either (must go again not that I ever win dont even know how to do it usually blotto by time the dogs start running lol)
