I seem to be having a lot of trouble lately reading census images as the writing is so small, what is the best way to copy them so you can enlarge the writing thanks |

If you're reading them on Ancestry you can enlarge them there. There's a blue bar above the image with some percentage listed. Click on that. Rose |

The only way you can do it is save the image. then use graphics softeare to enlarge the picture to what is readable. then you have to print the image a section at a time and stick the pages togther. |

Brill!! Everyone were so kind! Two people invited us into their homes to show us photos and other records purely because we talked to them....one in the street and the other at the village museum. Also, I rang the doorbell at the house where my ggg-grandparents lived. Told the man who answered why I had done so and he said, ''Oh you will be a Buck descendant, then?'' lol Exactly right!! ''Do come in'' he said....and we were there about an hour! Fantastic property. Where did that money go????? The couple who live there now are a retired colonel and his ex-fashion-designer wife!! They were VERY ''top drawer''.....there was me in shorts and Tshirt and hubby looking equally scruffy! They were polite enough to pretend not to notice! Merry |

Get hubby to buy you an A3 scanner..........tell him if he doesn't, you will want him to read off all the census stuff. That should do it! Merry |
