hi ive just googled and couldnt find it had wike on but for leeds and what is multimap is it easy to get on lynn

So it's definitely not Wyke near Bradford?? (Remember there's a Bradford in - I think- Somerset)

hi nicky dont know it just says wike bristol in 1851 and 61 so anythings possible we have a wyke in bradford which i thouhgt it was until i saw the bristol lynn

Jools There is a Wyke, Bradford but in West Yorkshire. Debby

Are you sure it doesn't say Wike Birstall?? From Genuki (1868): 'WIKE, a township in the parish of Birstall, wapentake of Morley, West Riding county York, 3 miles S.W. of Bradford, of which it may be considered a suburb.' Merry

Debbie - I know I lived there in my youth. Lynne - go for the Bradford Wyke - I bet if you enlarge the image it says Birstall not Bristol. Especially as N Bierley is Bradford too. UPDATE - just checked image - it's Birstall
