Hi, I am looking for a side of my family no one of my relations know about. I have tried looking for a birth cert. but I just can't find her! It's sherley bradley born around 1938. Any advice on how to find? Sam

To find births, you have to go through the GRO births indexes, checking each page with the relevant surname for each quarter, so minimum of 4 pages per year. You can search the images free on www.ancestry*co.uk or go to a records office/library that has the GRO indexes on microfiche. nell
