1861 Census for London...Please

Hello, I wonder if anyone could please help I am Trying to find a JAMES GILLETT ...his occupatin was a WEAVER...... He did have children ....I know it's not much to go on.. But would be very greatful for any Help..... Thank you very much Harold |

Using the search on 1837online 1861 census, there are no James Gilletts with occupation Weaver living anywhere in Eng/Wales. Of course he may just have an associated occupation, or his details may be mis-transcribed. Where have you seen his name up to now? Merry |

Harold sent me a PM saying James had a son, Robert, who married in 1871. I looked and saw the marriage was in Whitechapel in Q1 1871. The happy couple are on the 1871 census in Whitechapel. Robert was born about 1852/53 in Bethnal green. Still looking..................... Merry |

James Gillett had son Robert Gillett married 1871 ..He was 19 when married living on Keate St. |

In 1881 Robert says he is 30 and born Spitalfields. Still looking in 1861 for Robert and in 1851 for James, in case james died before 1861. Still not finding anything obvious! Merry |
