new series of Who Do You Think You are starts September (most likely 6th) so its probably time to whack in a load of cert orders now and avoid the 38 week wai

Thanks for the advice. GRO wait is about 5 days at the moment I think. Once WDYTYA is back it goes up to 20+ days ! I'll get some cert details ready to order.

its scheduled to transmit in 'week 36' of 2006 We are currently watching week 32 schedules (5th to 11th August) so basically - four weeks to go

I wonder who they will 'do' ? Would be quite good if they just did a series on ordinary members of the public - there is enough reality tv on these days, so why not on FH ?

David tennant, Robert Lindsay, Barbara Windsor and David Dickinson thats the pictures I can see on BBC so far anyway - obviously the ones later on in the series its a bit too early for the pic to be showing up

The local office wins hands down everytime,and a lot will supply a copy of the original register,complete with your rellies signature or mark,not the GRO 3rd generation copy. Two A-Z threads with details on this board,just enter 'the A-Z' in the thread search. One lists the offices and whether they scan or type the certs and the other has address/phone number and other contact details for most of the England /Wales offices. Glen
