I have the earliest twig on one of my branches with Thomas C Goble & Charlotte Goble + Kids. Name: Thomas Goble Age: 26 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1845 Relation: Head Spouses's Name: Charlotte Gender: Male Where born: Chelsea, Middlesex, England Civil Parish: Brighton County/Island: Sussex Country: England Street address: Occupation: Condition as to marriage: Disability: View image Registration district: Brighton Sub-registration district: St Peter ED, institution, or vessel: 20 Neighbors: View others on page Household schedule number: 86 Household Members: Name Age Charlotte Goble 27 James W Goble 1 Mary A Goble 5 Thomas Goble 26 Thomas C Goble 3 I Cleverly Deduced that Chatlotte's maiden name was Cosham. Marriage to a Thomas West Goble Sept 1864 in Brighton Births Mar 1844 COSHAM Charlotte Lewes 7 435 It all fits just perfectly. UNTIL I start looking for Charlotte Cosham pre marriage on the 1851 & 1861 Census' She doesn't exist! There's a lucy Cosham born right time right place but not a Charlotte to be found. I've tried lottie, and charlote I've tried misspelling the last name, I've tried looking at other cosham families in sussex to no avail HELP!! before i go quite mad! |
