hi tom no i dont have his marriage cert the thing is on the 1841 census that i looked at both had fathers called william i know you cant be sure if they were their fathers but going by dateds of birth they must have been so that might make it hard still to tell.his first child was born in 1844 i think i have him on other census thankyou for your help and suggestions much appreciated kerry ann

Do you have his marriage certificate? This would give the name of his father. (If i have read it right then he married after 1841 correct?) do you have him on subsequent censi, giving his age? (remember on 1841 ages are rounded down)

hi everyone i have one of my rellies born in 1819 his name is william lee born in whitby north yorkshire i looked for him on the 1841 census before he married well a couple of years before.the trouble is i found 2 william lees born the same year and in yorkshire so i dont know which one is mine can anyone help or give suggestions please on how i can find out which one is right.any help very much appreciated thankyou kerry ann
