can anyone help, please!! i am unable to find part of my family, who disappeared entirely after the 1871 census - they were all present and correct then but were all missing from the 1881,91 and 1901 lists; henry jackman, born knaresborough in 1828; wife margaret born masham in 1831; children charles henry born darley in 1856; son george born leeds in 1858 and daughter mary louisa born leeds in 1861. i have found charles henry - he died aged 17 and death was registered in keighley (at the time the family was living in bingley). i have trawled through the deaths lists etc but with no success - can anyone out there point me in the right direction, please?? thanks. shelagh

thanks for help - i have no idea if they emigrated or not - seems odd that the other son disappeared also. will have to look into other records to see if they have appeared elsewhere. thanks again. shelagh
