I seem too be missing some siblings on the 1891 census, can anyone help find John & William? They are here on the 1881 census Name: Thomas W. Goble Age: 36 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1845 Relation: Head Spouses's Name: Mary A. Gender: Male Where Born: London Kensington, London, Middlesex, England Civil parish: Portslade County/Island: Sussex Country: England Street address: 3 Station Road Condition as to marriage: Married Education: Employment status: View image Occupation: General Labourer Registration district: Steyning Sub registration district: Shoreham ED, institution, or vessel: 38 Neighbors: View others on page Household Members: Name Age Caroline Goble George Goble 4 John Goble 11 Mary A. Goble 33 Thomas Goble 12 Thomas W. Goble 36 William Goble 9 Then I've found probable death records for Thomas Charles Goble (Jr), George West Goble, and Caroline Louisa Gobel before the next census. The 1891 Census shows the same parents with a new batch of kids. Name: Thomas W Goble Age: 46 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1845 Relation: Head Spouses's Name: Mary A Gender: Male Where Born: Kensington, London, England Civil parish: Portslade Ecclesiastical parish: St Nicholas Town: Portslade County/Island: Sussex Country: England Street address: Occupation: Condition as to marriage: Education: Employment status: View image Registration district: Steyning Sub registration district: Shoreham ED, institution, or vessel: 36 Neighbors: View others on page Household Members: Name Age Charles R Goble 8 Elizabeth A Goble 6 Ethel R Goble 4/12 Jane W Goble 2 Mary A Goble 42 Thomas W Goble 46 I found a possible for William but I'm really not sure as it's in london not sussex, however it is in the same area as his sister Mary Goble (not shown above as she's elsewhere as a servant) is living in 1901. I can't find a death record for John or William in that time frame but i'd really like to find them alive and well cause too many of the kids in that family died so young!! Can anyone help? Helen

Laura you're a rock, that first one sure looks like him. Not sure about the second as the age is off by 5 years. Isn't that rather a lot?

I live in the Portslade area - both Aldrington & Southwick border this to the West. Aldrington is only a small area & was sometimes considered as part of Portslade - not far from Station Road Portslade and next local rail station.
