	hi everyone this may sound silly but am having one of my thick days!!i just want to ask am i right i had contact from a rellie yesterday who i didnt know about shes in my mums generation what it is her grandfather and my mums grandfather are brothers does that make them 1st cousins because i think it does the rellie who contacted me thinks they are 2nd cousins could anyone tell me who is right please sorry for the silly question thankyou kerry ann

	Second cousins. (the closest common ancestor between your mum and her is their great-grandfather). Richard
