Hi James Thank you for your very kind offer. I am not sure whether this information would be there but... I have obtained two death certificates which has opened up a little mystery. There were two young children (my gt gt uncles) who died in the same year and it appears that they an accdent at Colston Hall. One of the certificates states that the inquest was held on 29th January, adjoured to 2nd February 1887. However, I have been informed that all inquest records were destroyed. Somebody on here very kindly sent me an article from The Times telling me a little about the accident but I wondered whether there was anything more in depth in the local papers about the accident or the findings of the inquest. Are you abel to search for newspapers? I am looking for an obituary for my gt gt grandmother who died in 1944. Winifred Catherine Mason nee Wheeler. Once again, thank you very much for your offer.

Dont Worry I have a Henry Edward Coulson Carter.. he married in Durham NE England in 1843.. on the marriage cert it just says of full age.. and that his Father's name is George Carter a Shop Keeper. so he is at least 21.. giving him a C year of 1822 ish.. On all the census he gives his Birthplace as Bristol Somerset.. In 1851 he is aged 37.. which would make him born 1814 ish.. he age is constant being 58 in 1871 Hope that you can help as he does not appear on the IgI Mo

Hello James. Thank you for this. I live in Australia and am still working out what records are kept are which places. So if what I ask is impossible, don't worry. I'm looking for David Kirkby Ariel. I have his birth as 13Aug 1818. St Pauls. Also his sister, Jane Eyre Ariel. Born about 1824. Same place. I can't find them on any census or their deaths or marriages. I do have their siblings. Also another sister,Agatha Ariel. She married Edward Clark1841. Edward is married to a Emma by 1861. I think they may have divorced as I believe Agatha was involved an an adultery case. Not sure which, if any, of these records would be at the archives. Thanks again.
