Julie yes that's the one. He's listed as a framework knitter - cotton on the 1851. Also thank you for the information about the rounding up/down of ages - that would make more sense. Thank you very much for your time. Barbara

i take it this is what you mean?? Name: Robert Smith Age: 45 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1796 Household: View other family members Gender: Male Where born: Derbyshire, England Civil parish: Wilne Hundred: Morlestone and Litchurch County/Island: Derbyshire Country: England Street address: Occupation: View image Source information: HO107/190/13 Registration district: Shardlow Sub-registration district: Stapleford ED, institution, or vessel: 3 Folio: 21 Page: 11 (click to see others on page) Line number: 1 GSU Number: 241294 havent a clue about occupation, what about 1851 cen? does that glean anything??? and as for the children? triplets? i know ages were rounded down, so it is possible, one was 16/17/18, but they got ounded down to 15, which seems more likely, the ones under 15 would be at right age, as 15 was stating point for rounding down HTH Julie
