Uploading GEDCOM file Problems - Over 28 hou

Is there a problem uploading Gedcom files to GR? I started my upload over 28 hours ago and my status message still says: - 'Your Tree Status: Awaiting Gedcom Import.'. I can't upload another Gedcom file as it says that there is already an upload in progress. John |

Thanks for your interest Joan. I am pretty sure that it's a problem at the GR end again and they will have to sort it out. It's just so frustrating having to wait so long for what should be a simple and straight forward process. John |

Hello there This is quite a regular problem. Whatever you do, leave well alone. The last time we had problems, I tried deleting my tree to see if that helped with uploading, and I ended up with just me in the tree for a fortnight.They do right it again in the end, I just e mailed them every day to 'jolly them up' Lynda |

Hi Lynda, I emailed my situation to Genes Reunited about 9hrs ago. I guess GR would still be in bed then. I just wonder how long it will take them to sort out. My upload has been running for around 21 hours now. It's only a small file. In the past it's never taken more than a couple of min's to upload. John |

Yippee!! I've just received an email from GR to say that may GEDCOM file has now been processed. |
