If you are not sure about the second birth being to the same mother, and you know the mother's name, then give that as a checking point when ordering the later birth certificate, just in case it is a different family. Kath. x

September Baby could have been a little bit early too! One of the gilrs at work has 2 little boys who will both be in the same school year as theres only 10months between them. R x

she had 10 children so far but trouble is some are registered under the right name but of course spelt all sorts of ways and some are under their naturalized name so I am trying to narrow it down to just 10 certs, did I say just 10 ???? oh dear hope hubby never gets interested in this .

yes - its possible, poor woman though! You had six weeks to register a birth, that means the first one could have been born in latter half of October/November, meaning that there is nearly a year until the end of the September Qtr the next year. I guess the only way to find out would to buy the certs - do you have them on the census?

She could have had the baby in December and not registered until the next quarter and then could just fit another one in by September!! :-) Anna x

would it be plausible for a mother to register one birth in March and another the same year in September or would you say I have one of the children wrong thanks ???
