Hello im really struggling to find my great grandfathers marriages - I know its possible that he didnt marry either of his Mary's but would anyone be able to have a look for me please? He was called William Reginald Endley born in 1901 in Wellington Shropshire. Although was known as Reginald. He first wife(?) was called Mary Rumney and their child was born in 1936 Cumbria. He then had another child with Mary Foley in 1942, born in Halifax. Any help would be fantastic as my heads a bit sore from banging it against the wall. Least then if it cant be found I know they were living over t'brush and I can do some research into the next ones. Thank you Rebecca x

where are you searching - those time periods haven't been transcribed so you will have to trawl ancestry. might find something on YorkshirBMD

where have you looked - have you searched year by year, quarter by quarter? a possible idea may be to try and find the birth certs of any children (did he have any?) and you could work back from then looking at the electoral role.

If you get the birth cert for the child, that would give an address. People offer electoral roles over on records board, or they are the local libraries for the area.

following on from Nana Anna, he married Mary J The image is VERY blurred, you may be best getting in touch with the record office that hold those records rather than the GRO.
