Hi as a way of saying thankyou to you all for helping me since i have joined i am willing to have a look in my home town for anything you might want to look at. I am afraid that medical conditions stop me from travelling to far away from my home town. Will keep this nudged up for the next couple of days so everyone gets a chance to see it and will post on the general board as well. Thanks Jen |

Hi Jen, Thanks for your generous offer. I would love anything you could dig up on any Costall name you can find. I have Costalls going back to 1562 from that area. I would even be willing to pay for photos of graves? If possible Jackie ( Australia ) |

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you all. I will be going on a road trip next week around local cemetries and will see what i can find for you. If i manage to find anything with matching names then i will take photos and write what i can read if there is a grave and let you know. Jen |

I have been to the local cemetry today and there was a really helpful gentleman working there that said if i leave my list of surnames with him he would find all of the people buried there for me. I am going back Monday morning to collect the list which he has done. He also told me that buriels didn't start there until 17th October 1855. Before this date they took place in the Skirbeck Parish in Boston. Where the grave yard used to be is about 5 minutes walk from my house the only downside is that it has now been turned into a childrens play area, so the only place to research deaths before this is at the Lincoln Archieves. I will be visiting a few churches next week and will see if i can find anymore information for you. If the local cememtry is able to find people i will post the people who they are able to find and if you think they are connected to you then i will go back and take the list with me and try and find the grave. If i am unsuccessful in finding the grave then they are willing to help find it but they charge £7 for the 1st person and then £3 for all of the others this is per surname as well. I will gladly take photos of graves for people and write down information that i can read off of head stones. I will let you all know more on Monday night. Jen |
