You can put your tree on there and keep it private no one else will see it unless you give permission. I put mine on and really pleased with the way it finds links with your rellies once you have put their details on. Gwen |

Well, you dont need to put yours on to have a mooch through the ones that are on there. Im hesitating about putting mine on as Ive had idiots snatch the lot and add it to theirs in the past. |

Its an absolute must. Well, lets see - do you have any early - pre registration 1837 marriages? You could try finding them on the pallots marriage index? Theres also stuff from parish registers and newspapers and some of the Indian Army officers? Just play with it and see what you can find. Theres ancestry world tree that may have someone submitting ancestors who match yours. Erm, you can look at the number and years any of ancestors with your surnames went to the States and if they were in the Civil wars there. There is a chart that shows you the longevity of people with your name (or otherwise!) and what work they are likely to have done (Course, Im lucky in having unusual surnames which only number in the hundreds so likely to have some sort of valid info from these). |

Ann, After your trial expires you will be automatically subscribed. It might be worth calling them to see if they are offering any special deals for the annual subscription. Rose |
